Uses of Ibuprofen:
Ibuprofen - a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to
reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by headache,
toothache, back pain, arthritis or injury. It is also used to
relieve mild to moderate menstrual pain. The Non-prescription
ibuprofen is taken to reduce fever and to relieve mild headaches,
muscle aches etc. The Non-prescription ibuprofen is available in
palatable form such as tablet and chewable tablet.
Particular features :
Ibuprofen may also be used for other purposes not listed in this
medication guide. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to
ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Before taking ibuprofen, inform
your doctor if you:
Have a history of heart attack, stroke, or
blood clot;
Have Heart disease, congestive heart failure,
high blood pressure;
Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
Have Asthma
Have Polyps in your nose; or
Have Liver or kidney disease,
Have Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE);
Have a bleeding or blood clotting disorder; or
Smoke.
Are allergic to any drugs
If you have any of these conditions, you
may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely take
ibuprofen. |
